Plaatsjebod

Plaatsjebod is a Dutch bankruptcy auction house. Plaatsjebod came to Sensible for branding, marketing and web-app services. Sensible is a leading provider in auction software so it was an easy decision for them to make.

As a front end developer at Sensible it was my job to style the entire website. The auction platform is built on Java, using .jsp files to output the html to the browser. Each auction platform has a basic, un-styled layout and it was my job to overhaul it into what exists now.

This was an important client so we had to work to a tight deadline so that the site was ready in time for their first auction.

Responsibilities:

• CSS overhaul.
• Editing jsp files to change layouts.
• Developing and writing email templates.
• Mailchimp integration.
